original poems, MY WRITING and SHORT STORY pages. I am a husband, father and grandfather. My writing is from a Christian world view.

My book, Closed Doors opens with a novella, Toxic Situations. A break-in at an Atlanta, Georgia laboratory results in the theft of avian flu virus capsules by organized crime figures and an investigation by the CDC. CDC investigators pursue suspects on a trail from Atlanta to Sydney, Australia. Protagonists for for the novella and short stories are named Craig. Craig Jr. is featured in the novella, Toxic Situations. Toxic Situations is followed by two short story prequels: Family Secrets and Thrills at the Esplanade Cinema. These short stories are set in north Texas. Each story has ties to the Craig Wells family. Closed Doors, a Trilogy is now Live in Kindle format on Amazon.com.

Other works include a  work in progress novel set in 1835 and the years that follow. My Three Forks stories are based on early settlement and growth in Dallas and Tarrant counties of north Texas.

I like to share positive feedback with other writers and I respect my readers. I’ve been a writer my entire career. I started with tech writing and moved on to commercial productions. These included training and safety programs – satisfying because  they saved lives. Trade show videos  made our products and services look good. I felt good when they did. Creative writing always gave me my greatest enjoyment.  That’s why I’m doing it now.

  9. Your trilogy sounds like a fun read. My husband loves those types of stories and I must admit that I get involved with them too. I definitely believe you should do what you love, so I’m glad you have decided to pursue creative writing. You get to do what you love and we get to read your fantastic stories! It’s a win-win!
